Connor is 9 Months Old!

Only 3 months until Connor's First Birthday!

Connor's 9 month doctor's appointment isn't until Jan. 11, so I won't have his current stats until then.

Connor at 9 months...
He is into everything and wanting to do whatever "Big Brother" Evan can do. He is beginning to notice wires, plugs, laptops and other technology around the house.
Connor is starting to try to pull up on the furniture too. I'm guessing he will be walking by his 1st birthday, just like Evan did.
Connor is starting to eat some table food. He has tried bananas, mashed and sweet potatoes. He is also really starting to like the Gerber snack type food. He is eating oatmeal instead of rice cereal now.
He is drinking apple, pear and white grape juice, but apple is his favorite.
Connor is sleeping a little better the last few weeks, but naps are sometimes still a problem...I think he's afraid he's going to miss something while he's sleeping. :)
He loves to crawl on the floor and try to follow Evan around the house.. as you can see in the picture.
This is his favorite thing to do...where ever Evan is, Connor wants to be.

Connor is still wearing size 12 months clothing. He is also needing to get that "official first haircut" really soon.
Connor currently has 2 bottom teeth with more on the way any time now.

*I will update more after Connor's Doctor Appointment.

Evan's Quote of the Day

"Daddy goes to work and Mommy goes shopping" -Evan

Christmas Day

On Christmas morning, Connor was up at 630AM.
At 730AM, Evan still wasn't up yet and I couldn't wait any longer...so I woke him up!

Evan couldn't wait to see if Santa ate his cookie and drank the milk.

Here is Evan checking out the gifts. He kept saying "Oh my!"
Connor wasn't into the whole unwrapping gift thing, but that's what big brothers are for :)

Evan's Quote of the Day

"Mommy and Daddy the smoke detector doesn't have a mouth so it can't bite me." -Evan

Cookie Decorating with Evan

On Thursday,  I finally decided it was our last chance to make some Christmas cookies.
So, I did the baking and frosting and Evan did the decorating.
As you can see Evan takes his job very seriously.
There was alot of finger licking going on and for some reason we ran out of M&Ms to put on the cookies because someone (Evan) was eating most of them.
Yummy!

Seeing Santa...

Monday afternoon we took the boys to the mall to see Santa Claus.
I have been super excited about this for weeks now...in hopes that Evan will actually sit on Santa's lap this year.
I kept asking him the last few days, "Who are we going to be seeing soon?" and "What are you going to ask Santa for?" He'd always answer me, "SANTA!" and "CARS AND COOKIES!" and act all excited. So I had really high hopes...
Well, let's just say that Connor had no problem sitting on Santa's lap!
So cute....but boy we gotta do something with that hair!!
Evan on the other hand....wouldn't even go near the jolly old elf....BUMMER!
Oh well...we will try again next year.
The boys after the "Santa Experience". (I can never get everyone to look at the camera)

Martha Stewart Wannabe?

This last week was quite a "crafty" one at the Moulton Home.
Evan and I worked on making some Christmas gifts for family. I can't show pictures or talk more about those though because they are gifts :)

I actually found some time to work on a little project for Evan's Room.
I have slowly been trying to change Evan's room theme from Dinosaurs to Cars, Trucks and Hairplanes (as he likes to call them).
So for under $3 total, I made the 2 frames below.
I painted wooden frames green, added scrapbooking paper with road signs to it. Then finished by adding an already painted dump truck and train to the center.
Evan loved them and he told me, "Mommy, good job"... I was pretty proud of myself!
We had a few Christmas parties to attend too. I was in the mood to try to make something different.
I have always wanted to make chocolate covered pretzel rods...so that's what I did.
So yummy and so easy!!
The hardest part was keeping Daddy and Evan out of the kitchen :)
