Connor is 1 Month Old!

I can't believe that Connor is one month old already!

He is over 10 pounds now and seems to be getting bigger everyday. He is up to 4 ounces of formula about every 4 hours now. Sometimes he wants more though :)

Just this week Connor started cooing and making this cute little "OH" sound after he sneezes.

He is a very alert baby (when he's not sleeping)! He is still sleeping alot, but is getting much better at night. He has been doing 5 hour stretches!!! 

Connor is also trying so hard to hold is head up too. He likes to be "talked to" and loves to watch his big brother Evan dance.

Evan's New "DO"

Yesterday morning before our play date Evan got a haircut.

It was long overdue and his hair was getting out of control.

But anyone that knows Evan's hair, knows it always out of control!!!
I'm starting to realize that if I want him to look "human" we need to keep his hair on the shorter side.
I'd like to tell you he enjoyed getting his haircut, but I would be lying!
Let's just say... both Evan and I were totally covered in hair afterwards...
Daddy will be joining us next time :)

Someone's been sleeping in my bed!

Today we took Connor is his 2nd Doctor's appointment.

(Doctor's appointments are so much more "eventful" with 2 kids now!)

Connor now weighs 10 pounds 2 ounces and is 22 inches long.

Doctor says that he looks good and is doing great!

At the end of his appointment he received his first shot...what a shocker...he's not a fan of them :(

Can you believe in 3 days Connor is already going to be a month old?!?!?!

Connor's First Bath

Here is Connor getting his first bath in the sink tub.

He cried when I first put him in, but then it seemed like he really loved it!

I love this face that he's making...

I'm not wanting to rush Connor growing up, but I can't wait until Evan and him can take baths together in the tub!!

It will be a "win-win" for everyone...the boys will have fun playing together and I'll get them both clean at the same time :)

Back in the Saddle Again...

Yesterday, the boys and I made our first debut back attending "Mommies Gone Wild" play dates.

Evan and I have been going "stir crazy" being stuck at home these past few weeks!

We are very happy to be able to get out of the house again, like we use to everyday.

I finally feel that life is getting back to normal, but the only thing is... now I have no free hands :)

If you didn't guess....this is Dave and me... 11 years ago!

It seems like it was only yesterday...time really does fly.

"Double" Stroller Saturday

Today we decided to go to the mall for a walk since the weather was crappy out.

Going to the mall is a little different now with two kiddos, but it's not going to stop me from getting out of the house!

The stroller is going to take some getting use to driving though!! :)

Evan's New "Buddy"

I keep getting asked how Evan is adjusting to Connor...it's actually better then we thought!

Evan is a very helpful "Big Brother"! He likes to bring you a diaper to change Connor with. He will bring you an extra blanket for the baby..if you need it or not :)   His favorite though is to bring Connor a bottle and start to feed him.

He also gets so concerned too when Connor starts to cry. He'll say, "Mommy, baby cry...what happened?"

Makes me smile every time!

Thanks Aunt Michelle!

Aunt Michelle is back home today in San Diego after she spent 6 days visiting with us.

She watched Evan for us during the C-section and while Dave would visit me at the hospital.

She was a huge help with Evan, housework and helping me at the hospital.

I think even Dave liked having her around too :)

Thanks Aunt Michelle! We love you and miss you!
